New Sample Project for ScheduleWidget

Tags: ScheduleWidget

I've been fielding several questions recently about ScheduleWidget. Some of them are interesting edge cases but most are of the "how the heck do I use this thing?" variety. So I wrote a complete ASP.NET MVC 4 web application to illustrate the full workflow in which ScheduleWidget can be used.

The code explains it all but basically the home page (view) is using Shaw's FullCalendar javascript control. It's available as a nuget package and that's how I referenced it in the project. Obviously I referenced the ScheduleWidget nuget package as well. To exercise the code click on any day in the calendar and you'll be redirected to a "create schedule" view. Go ahead and create one. (Rocky here's your N number of occurrences example!) It should show up on the calendar. Then click on any calendar object on the calendar. You'll be taken to a view of that specific occurrence.

I hope this clears up a lot of confusion on how best to use ScheduleWidget. If not, do yell at me on twitter @squarewidget, by email, or on the github site: https://github.com/jamesstill/ScheduleWidget

Update 7/30/2013: Checked the sample project into the github repo under ScheduleWidgetSampleProject: https://github.com/jamesstill/ScheduleWidget
